Consultant                                                                November 2006 – Present
Residential designer for projects in New York and Wyoming.  Historic preservation review/urban revitalization plans for an historic block in Meridian, Mississippi.  Drawing review, and venue/hospitality design recommendations for event venues designed by other architects for museums and private venues including Ground Zero, The Bronx Zoo, The Armory on Lexington Avenue in New York City, Philadelphia’s Barnes Museum, The Miami Art Museum, The Orlando Center for the Performing Arts, The Milwaukee Public Museum, and The Institute for Contemporary Art in Boston.

Sole responsibility for company leadership, architectural design, and project management:
-Personnel management and resource allocation;
-Marketing, client contact, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and invoicing;
-Code compliance, including zoning codes, health and safety codes, and ADA requirements; 
-Coordination/collaboration with all required consultants;
-Schematic design, design development, and construction drawings (hand-drawn sketches and CAD documents), and technical specifications;
-Competitive bid package preparation, incorporating all federally mandated attachments;
-Construction administration, including inspections, RFI’s, change orders, and invoices;
-Cultural Resource Assessment Surveys and historic preservation tax credit paperwork for historic properties per State and NPS guidelines.

-Created a consistent management presence when partners were away from the office, managing a staff of 19-26 persons and three satellite offices;
-Reorganized personnel  to increase office productivity while maximizing individual incomes;
-Designed collaborative project reporting systems to analyze past and ongoing project profitability and to forecast future fiscal and staffing needs;
-Launched new strategic project pricing plan to adapt to rapidly changing economy.
-Developed customized, targeted P.R. materials to expand into municipal markets and to respond quickly to RFP’s. 
-Increased profits by development of basic reporting systems and procedures for project staffing, fiscal forecasting, and public relations.

Project Manager                                                                 October 1988 - April 1990
Russell Partnership, Miami, Florida
Under direct partner supervision, coordinated construction documents and details for large aviation projects, supervising a staff of 3-6 draftsmen; responsible for scheduling, working drawing generation, specification materials, and consultant coordination.  With partner supervision, performed construction administration and on-site construction reporting.
